Anabel Englund is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is the daughter of Pamela and Morgan Englund, an actor and singer.

Anabel’s paternal grandfather was editor, director, producer, and actor George Englund (born George Howe Ripley; the son of Harold Austin “Rip” Ripley and Mabel Albertson). George was born in Washington, D.C. He was adopted by his mother’s second husband, Ken Englund, whose surname he took; the surname Englund is Swedish.

Anabel’s great-grandfather Harold, a syndicated newspaper columnist for the Chicago Tribune, was the son of George H. Ripley and Julia C. Waters. Mabel, an actress, was the daughter of Russian Jewish parents, Leopold A. “Leo” Albertson and Flora Craft/Kraft. Mabel’s brother, Anabel’s great-great-uncle, was actor, comedian, dancer, singer, and musician Jack Albertson.

Anabel’s paternal grandmother was actress and comedian Cloris Leachman (the daughter of Berkeley Claiborne “Buck” Leachman and Cloris Votruba Wallace). Anabel’s grandmother Cloris was born in Iowa. Berkeley was the son of Robert Parker Leachman and Rose/Rosa Claiborne. Anabel’s great-grandmother Cloris was the daughter of Everett Oren Wallace and Bertha Votruba, whose parents were Bohemian Czech.

Anabel’s maternal grandfather was Alexander Hoyle Ralston (the son of Alexander Hoyle Ralston and Marjorie Livingston Brereton). Anabel’s great-grandfather Alexander was the son of Henry/Harry Westenberger Ralston and Mary Victoria Hoyle, and was of one half English, one quarter Irish [possibly Northern Irish], and around one quarter German, descent. Marjorie was the daughter of Thomas Eugene Lindsay Brereton and Helen Emma Oyler, and was of German, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Irish, English, and Scottish descent.

Anabel’s maternal grandmother was Lynda Elaine Goho (the daughter of Walter Lessig Goho and Pearl Irene Matz). Lynda was born in Pennsylvania, of mostly or entirely German descent. Walter was the son of Jacob Elmer/A. Goho and Clara Lessig. Pearl was the daughter of William H. Matz and Cora Amelia Hertzog.
