Darren Bravo is a Trinidadian professional cricketer who has represented the West Indies in all 3 formats of the sport (Tests, ODIs, and T20Is), as a top-order batsman. He was an integral member of the West Indian squad that had won the ICC World T20 in 2012. Before breaking into the senior national team in 2009, he had represented the West Indies at the Under-19 ICC Cricket World Cup in 2008. He had scored 165 runs there in 5 matches at a stellar average of 55, helping his team win the plate final against Nepal, thus finishing 9th overall in the 16-team tournament. In that particular match, he was the team’s top-scorer with 24 runs not out and had also picked up 3 wickets for just 9 runs. In the Caribbean domestic circuit, he has played for his home country of Trinidad and Tobago (2007–Present) across all 3 formats. A rare occurrence in modern cricket, Darren has also played domestic cricket outside of his home country representing Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club (2011) in England.

Darren Bravo Facts
A dynamic top-order batsman in the limited-overs versions of the sport, Darren has been featured in franchise-based T20 leagues around the world, turning out for Deccan Chargers (2012) and Kolkata Knight Riders (2017) in the IPL (Indian Premier League); Trinbago Knight Riders (2013–Present) in the CPL (Caribbean Premier League); Comilla Victorians (2017) in the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League); and Multan Sultans (2018) in the PSL (Pakistan Super League).
As of October 2021, he had held the record for the highest 3rd-wicket partnership in ODI history (258 runs). The record was set in August 2014 when he had joined Denesh Ramdin on the crease with the West Indies struggling at 12/2 in the 5th over of an ODI match against Bangladesh. Their partnership was broken only in the 43rd over at the score of 270. The West Indies went on to put a mammoth score of 338 runs in 50 overs, eventually winning the match by 91 runs and clinching the 3-match ODI series by a margin of 3-0.
In October 2016, he had become the first batsman in history to score a century in the 4th innings of a day/night test match when he had scored 116 against Pakistan. This was just the 2nd test match in history to have been played in the day/night format and his score of 116 had made him the first-ever left-handed batsman to have scored a hundred in a day/night test match.
