Jeremy grew up in his hometown, and went to Kirkwood High School where he played football and basketball as well, becoming one of the best in his class.

Following his matriculation in 2006, Jeremy enrolled at the University of Missouri where he continued playing football, and was one of the best on the Missouri Tigers football team, coached by Gary Pinkel. He held several positions, including wide receiver, and punt and kick return specialist, which enabled him to post a record for most all-purpose yards with 2,776 yards in one season. Thanks to his great plays, Jeremy was named Consensus All-American in 2007 and 2008. After the two successful season of college football, Jeremy declared for the 2009 NFL Draft.

Regarded as a top 10 pick, Jeremy wanted even better results at NFL Combine and higher draft position, but injured his knee at one of the training sessions, which meant that he declined to a 19th position at the draft.

He was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles, and signed his first professional contract on the 3rd August worth $15.5 million over five years. In the first two season games Jeremy was a substitute, but in the third game he became a starter, following Kevin Curtis’ injury. In the game, Jeremy wasn’t quite up to the standard with only three caught passes and 33 yards, however, he appeared in 15 games scoring four touchdowns from 773 receiving yards; the Eagles qualified for the post-season, and against the Dallas Cowboys, Jeremy became the youngest player in the history of the NFL to score a touchdown in the post-season, at 21 years and 243 days. Also, he broke the franchise record for receiving yards in a play-off game with 146. In the next season, Jeremy played in all 16 games and improved his statistics from the rookie year as he had 964 receiving yards, while also scoring 10 touchdowns. Season after season Jeremy improved, and in 2014 he was promoted to starting wide receiver, which resulted in the best season in his career – he caught 85 passes for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns, which earned him a spot at the Pro Bowl that season, though as an alternate after Demaryius Thomas was injured.

His contract with the Eagles expired after the 2014 season ended, and he then signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, worth $55 million over five years, which considerably increased his net worth. In his first season for his new team, Jeremy scored eight touchdowns with 1,088 rushing yards from 124 caught passes. However, the following season was marred by injuries, and after a career low of 536 receiving yards and just two touchdowns, he was released by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Luckily, Jeremy soon received a contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens; he signed with the AFC Central Conference franchise on a contract worth $11 million over two years. In 2017, he played in 12 games, but his numbers didn’t improve, in fact went lower, as he had only 440 rushing yards on 40 receptions, and scored three touchdowns.

When it comes to his personal life, Jeremy has been married to Adia Kuzma since May 2017.
