Michael Rubin’s famous annual white party in the Hamptons was bursting with famous athletes and celebrities.
Stars in attendance on Monday night included Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell, Joel Embiid, James Harden, Odell Beckham Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and AEW founder Tony Khan.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft was also there, and he had a nice reunion with Brady, who won six Super Bowls with New England during his time with the team from 2000 through 2019.
And then there were the celebrities, including Jay-Z, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kevin Hart, Jack Harlow, Kendall Jenner and Justin and Hailey Bieber.
Rubin, 50, is the CEO of Fanatics and former co-owner of the 76ers.
On an appearance on Barstool’s “Pardon My Take” this past April, Rubin explained what a cutthroat process it is to determine which specific stars to invite — and who to snub.
“At the end of the year, we said who are the 75 people who added the least value, we cut them like a football team,” Rubin said.
“You want someone who people are gonna love to be around, who are gonna be the life of the party, you’re gonna add value there.
“I had someone offer me a million dollars to get two people in last year, to donate to charity, I’m like, you can’t buy your way into this party.”
The party, which is limited to 350 guests (on 400 invitations) at Rubin’s home in Bridgehampton, went from 5:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
“We have 90 security [guards] at the party,” Rubin continued.
“People try to sneak in through the bushes. It’s crazy.”
Fanatics, which dominates the apparel market in pro sports, has since expanded into trading cards (with the purchase of Topps) and will be delving into the sports gambling market as it closes its $225 million acquisition of PointsBet.
