Like I said, seeing barefaced celebrities isn’t something we see everyday. And when we do see celebs without their daily drip,

Many celebrities have been on the campaign trail of letting their fans know that they don’t need body enhancements, tons of makeup, or to portray themselves to be someone they’re not in order to fit in. As one of the biggest female rappers of our time, Cardi B has struggled with the pressures of being a proper role model for kids, but recently, the “I Like It” rapper gave legit advice.

Last month, Cardi took to social media to advise young girls to not make the same mistakes she made. The mom-of-one posted three photos of herself at age 15, admitting how “dumb” she looked. In two photos, she had eyebrow, lip, and multiple ear piercings. In the other photo, she’s seen smoking a cigarette.

Cardi admitted to trying to look “cool” for upperclassmen by smoking cigarettes and weed. She now realizes how dumb she looked while looking back on those photos.

“15 year old Cardi,” she tweeted. “…Dear little girls don’t smoke cigarettes or weed trying to look cool for the seniors cause you really gonna grow up and see how dumb you look doing it 😩😂😂Seriously tho what was I thinking?🤦🏽‍♀️anyways naaa my mustache was too much 😩😒😒😒”

The tweet was accompanied by photos of a young Cardi. She also uploaded the photos to Instagram in a now-deleted post.

Fans praised Cardi for her message to young girls. One follower commented, “Yes luv let’s guide the youth and let the learn from our mistakes I love this @iamcardib.” Another said, “Great advice for the youth.”

Older fans identified with Cardi’s post, agreeing that they, too, have made mistakes in the past. “Facts we do some dumb stuff as kids most definitely don’t want my kids to do the same thing,” one fan wrote.
